Digital Download ABCs Art Brain Breaks Project Preparation Cut Out Starters, Las Vegas, NV October 2025

My animal and insect illustrations come on a white background or on a black background. As I've been putting my Digital Download ABCs Art Brain Breaks Books together I've made a bunch of copies to work on layout and things and to see what they look like printed out.

During this process, of course, I ran out of toner like three times. I do like my laser printer and it's great, although you can see in these cut outs the black was on its last legs. Rather than throwing away any of these print outs I thought I should cut out ovals around the animals and bring them into classes with me, as I was standing in as a Substitute Teacher, in case we ended up with free time where kids wanted to color.

I figured some of them may be interested in the gray/spotty black printed ones and OH MY, they LOVED THEM.

I suggest you print out your copy of my ABCs Alligators to Zebras alphabet activity book in black, when I release them, because kids really like coloring them while they look like they're flying or walking around at night.

So, no waste going on with these activity books!

I do also recommend if you're sitting in front of the TV, tablet, whatever with free hands that you pre-cut some ovals and just stick them in your purse/backpack or whatever you haul around with you to whip these out for entertainment.

It's crazy how many times you find a reason to use them if you have them on you.

Like: waiting for the bus when it's late, sitting in a lobby, while you're on hold on the phone, sitting in dead stop traffic, it's weird. Try it.

Don't forget something to color with.
