This is a quick Art Brain Break project by a 4th grader in the Resource Room where I was a Substitute Teacher at CCSD in November 2025. She didn't say a word to me during our timed session where there were 3 other kids at the same octagon table. She had finished her math and all of her other assigned work so I asked her if she was interested in coloring any of the animal and insect art break pages I had with me. This was a Pre-K Autism class where I was Substitute Teacher for CCSD, here in NV, back in November. It was amazing because the Special Education Teacher Assistant said it would be great if I could set up a coloring area and leave it set up throughout the day to see if the kids were into it. They'd had a few challenging days recently and the thought was coloring might capture some of the kids attention more so than the usual program and if so, the day may go a little better
