SOA Portal Deployment Lead for the U.S. Navy CIO, Knowledge Manager & Senior SOA Architect

Assignments: Redesign and redeploy Navy AquaLogic Interaction (Plumtree) portal using Service Oriented Architecture to access legacy and new systems for an Employee Self Service portal intranet.

* Consulted with Navy CIO and Knowledge Manager to design portal redeployment plans
* Facilitated executive discovery workshops to define portal vision and execution strategy
* Led executive training sessions to educate leaders on all portal technologies
* Elicited business and technical requirements to build global, federated, Navy network
* Designed and developed security matrix to support Navy intellectual property program
* Liaise between CIO, Knowledge Manager, contractors, vendors and enlisted
* Designed portal governance framework and knowledge management policies
* Created composite application workshops to design dynamic business communities
* Initiated design of multi-branch, federated, search among all Navy portal installations
* Contributed to the design of Single Sign-On for all networked Navy portals
* Owned instruction design and delivered custom courses for portal education program
* Directed and managed all content subject matter experts in populating new communities
* Created business process standards and user adoption programs
* Built and maintained broad relationships to gain buy-in, socialization, and user adoption
