<P>CalPERS (California Public Employees' Retirement System) is the largest public pension system in the country, with $244 billion to invest on behalf of current and future retirees in the state of California, providing retirement and health benefits to approximately 1.5 million public employees, retirees, and their families and more than 2,500 employers. </P>
<P><em><STRONG>My Assignment</STRONG> is to </em>define and design the overall CalPERS’ strategy and implementation plan for agency portal, Enterprise Content Management, information access, and search roadmap including; 1) a 2500-user Employee Self Service Intranet; 2) a 2500-user Partner and Vendor Extranet; 3) a 1.5 Million-user Customer Extranet; and 4) a to-be-determined Business to Government Extranet </P>
<P>Part of this effort will include vendor product stack reviews with leading Commercial-Off-the-Shelf (COTS) vendors including Adobe, Autonomy, EMC, Endeca, Fast Search, Google, IBM, Interwoven, OpenText, Oracle, SAP, SUN, and Vignette to provide the business and Enterprise Architecture Teams with vendor selection recommendations. </P>
